Manchester United are third in their Europa League group, one point behind both Feyenoord and Fenerbahce with two games to go.

"We need four points to qualify, we don't need to be with the calculator and we don't need to be waiting for somebody not to win, or to score this or that," says Mourinho.

"It is so simple - we need four points to qualify, a victory and a draw. Tomorrow becomes a game where defeat, we are out. So we approach that game knowing it is a knockout game for us."

Manchester United have only won three of their last nine games in all competitions, but boss Jose Mourinho has been delighted with the fact the Old Trafford fans have fully supported him and the team.

Mourinho says: "Manchester United fans, what can I say? I am amazed with the way they are with the team.

"We let them down a couple of times with a couple of really bad performances, but we never let them down in terms of the quality of the game, the commitment and the enthusiasm - never in that area."

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been talking about his club's season, with the team sixth in the Premier League and only third in their Europa League group.

"The results are not good enough, especially if you compare the results with the way the team is playing," says Mourinho.

"If, as an example, you have a draw against Arsenal, it is quite a normal result, it is not a dramatic result.

"The drama is you play so well and dominate totally - then the result becomes really bad.

"You can say that for the last three matches at home we have lost six points when we played more than enough to have results to match the performance."
