There are no perfect teams in this division. No-one is going to run away with the title, but someone has to win it. Sometimes, it's the team who wants it most. Looking around us, is there any team that is better than us? Newcastle looked very good, but then look what has happened to them.
Another great feature of the game today was that the players didn't get phased by the big crowd. They responded to it and lifted their game.
All we need now is to play the first twenty minutes like we play the last twenty. Step up, own the game, and make it hard to break us down. Once we get that consistency into our play, we will easily make the top 6. We are getting that into our play. Even Jonty thinks we might get a top ten placing this year. You can't get better than that.
Consistency

Not a bad comparison is that :o)

Top 6
Newcastle
Norwich
Brighton
Derby
Reading
Leeds
My top 6 guess

Think our friend from Chelsea might have it right .. IF we can get a point or three at Brighton on Friday it will maintain momentum and confidence, they were no great shakes at Cardiff yesterday. Reading got thumped at Fulham, can see the wheels coming off there.
We've got a strong defence at long last and our young players are improving rapidly, plenty of reason for optimism.

Good shout. If only....
We don't really dominate games, we're just hard to beat. If we got an early two goal lead in a game, we might see a difference but at the moment they are under constant pressure for the full 90 minutes.
Missing Pablo badly at the moment.

Newcastle will walk this league.
Beating villa was a big result for us and now we need to put some ground between ourselves and 7th
However you can't aim for top 6, it's pointless, you got to go top 2, getting into the playoffs guarantees nothing, we learnt that in league one

It's the way he runs and build that reminds of him

Viera is still a baby, when u add that to his stats this season its so promising.
You dont rise through the ranks at Leeds and displace experienced pros at that age without being a solid prospect.
Imagine what he could become in 5 years...

Viera is so far ahead of Phillips in terms of ability. Comfortable on the ball, good passing ability and shown strength I didn't think he had.
He'll be a good player

Almost agree with everything you said Best.
Only difference, I see him becoming a very good player, maybe even a great one. Has a good head, seemingly staying calm while the others panic. Gets stuck in and has good strength.
Needs to learn from Byram and Cook and stay home.
