Huge club like City with the players they can put on the park.

Always said that away support is better by far than nearly every home support.

Our away support is pretty good considering the way our loyalty point system works as the away fan average age must be around 50 so all us dafties who did the hard yards in division 3 get first dibs over the Jonnie come latelys
Atmosphere at home is hot for the big home games in the PL but can be non existent other than that
CL games are an oddity,we've just not taken to the competition at all. Main reason is the appalling way UEFA have been with us,it's just seen as corrupt and left a sour taste,a lot have sacked it off,there's quite a number who do the euro aways for the crack but don't bother going to the games

I've a good friend who stopped going this season
He said it's like having a Mrs who's not a stunner but is a real soul mate but you get rid for a stunning blond
Once the novelty has worn off you yearn for the soul mate and I really get his reasoning and goes a long way to explaining the at times turgid atmosphere
