PSG meltdown, Our advantage!!

We played PSG a few times in the CL last few years they have been incredible.

It's all changed this year they lost Ibra and Luiz this summer and dropped right off. They are third in the league and only just made it in the CL. We seemed to of taken advantage already in getting Luiz back at a cut price deal. But they have a wealth of talent still there Aurier and Marquinhos are guys who would allow us to challenge for the CL next season.

Last Saturday is another example of people exaggerating what City do.

De Bruyne missed an open net, Hazard had an open net and choose not to shoot, doesn't get mentioned because it doesn't need to be since we scored 3 anyway.

Outside of those, both teams had decent chances to score, it's not like City pummelled our goal without response.

Agreed. We had a couple of chances to take the lead within the first 18 mins or so which could've had us outta sight.

only just made it in the CL.

That's worse than not qualifying at all.

In any hypothetical PSG meltdown, Marquinhos would be my player of choice. Really good ball playing CB under the age of 25. Anything around the 40mil mark would be great value for money - if Stones is worth 50mil, in truth Marquinhos is worth more

It just goes to show where PSG & Mourinho are concerned, both parties made the wrong choice. Both would've protected the others fragile reputations in testing times. Both got a little bit too ambitious, and both are currently suffering.

Also, if Mourinho had of gone to PSG, there's a slight chance Ibrahimovic would've given them another year. Unlikely, but definitely possible when you hear how much Zlatan admirers Jose dated back to their time at Inter.

I would absolutely love Veratti, I really rate him as a player and he's seriously underrated as a player
