There is no doubt we have in recent weeks turned a huge corner from the carnage of last year & the defeats to both Arsenal & liverpool this term (both games that I didn't see at all luckily) & the only ones as it happens
But there are some definative reasons for our current run of form
TC - so much more assured & possibly less busy, but pitches up when needed
David Luiz - no more playstation controlled, more the fully integrated digital system..& so much more mature, - been brilliant this term
Azpi was usually good...is now playing on the correct side & is a shoe in 7.5+ /10 every week
Kante - oh how Leicester must rue that sale, a third of the cost of Pogba, & twice as valuable thus far, - Makelele 2 in the making
Matic has rediscovered his form..mainly by playing next to the above week in week out
Hazard - has always been brilliant & dipped alarmingly last term...I blame Jose for that - back to full throttle now supplying Costa & doing what he does best
Moses - who knew...a £30-35m wing back we never knew we had
Pedro - had a few detractors last term...was not used enough & was usually used too late in games...now a starter & a pleasure to watch
Costa - just so happy playing now, (the influeance of Conte to my mind) unlike last year when he was starting a fight in a phone box...just because.. utterly unplayable at times now & scoring for fun
Even Alonso in his first year has been decent (I know he's not popular with everyone - Cahill the same)
But you have to say...the best thing has undoubtedly been Antonio Conte, whose infectious celebrating & winners attitude along with the current formation & sticking to a winning formula, with the odd tweak & good subbing has transformed us
The fact that Ivanovic Mikel & Oscar are not getting a look in has got to be mainly a bonus, and we still have Zouma to come back, & can call on last years best player Willian & also Fabregas & the (as yet) untested Bats from the bench when needed is huge.
Here's hoping it continues.....& maybe we even see the odd youngster given a shot, & or the odd cheeky buy in January to help us
The open secrets of our current success

Agreed nick, he was very direct which I liked, especially compared to the ponderous and sideways and backwards type of Football that we have played at times over the years. No defence likes people consistently running at it.

Well you can't keep winning it's impossible and thankfully so. I'd rather concentrate on the fact that we won 13 in a row rather than the inevitable one game that we didn't.
