If I was to pick out 2 midfielders for the team of the season at this moment I'd have Kante alongside Lallana. Standout midfielders this season.

I'd agree, Arter at Bournemouth has been excellent too, I keep an eye on him as he plays for Ireland

Lallana has added much needed end product to his game. Very useful player, helped by the arrival of Klopp.

The Klopp factor

He's been brilliant.

I think he is top of the running stats this season too.

Runs, scores, creates. Everything you want in an attacking midfielder.

Liverpool always look better with Lallana in the team this season. He presses the ball well, has plenty of energy and his passing and quality in the final third is much more consistent than it ever was.

He showed his quality last night with 2 very smart finishes, he's a very good player. Looks well worth the money and Liverpool are a better team when he plays.

I think he'd have been pretty high up on most peoples list of "players klopp will look to move on". Considering he seemed to struggle looking fit for 90 mins perviously, his energy has been outstanding.

Wonder if he will burn out eventually? You've a fairly small squad and don't look the same when a couple of your attacking are missing.

Hopefully he can continue playing this well for England, and he isn't stuck on the wing either.
