Chesterfield v Bolton Wanderers

Bolton make the 66.5 mile journey today for the clubs first visit to the proact stadium. Bolton currently 3rd and in form having won the last 5 games on the trot in all competitions and won 9 out of the last 10 games will go back to 2nd with a win or possibly top if Scunthorpe fail to beat Millwall at home. Chesterfield look very inconsistent. A couple of recent 3-2 wins recently but also a couple of batterings. Currently in 23rd and fighting a relegation battle Chesterfield could get out of the bottom 4 with a win today. A potential banana skin. Team news. Likely to be unchanged. Buxton doubtful so may be replaced on the bench. The long term injury list is clearing with pratley and clayton playing for the reserves on monday.

Is it safe to come out of hiding yet ?
Bouncebackability should be a piece of cake next game how could we possibly lose against a club in the bottom three.

Same old excuses from PP. no mention of the way Scunthorpe get the job done week in week out ,
Makes the fixture against them very important.

I think we should forget about the Scunthorpe game and concentrate on the other matches if Scunny lose or draw the odd game history will be in our own hands but as I've said all along traditionally it's a high scoring league to be in the top two you have to be scoring more than we are currently doing.

It must be time for the Christmas excitement to begin get your i-Spy Max books ready and sharpen your pencils Max is more illusive and harder to spot than Father Christmas flying across the skies there's double points bonus on offer if you spot the Max wearing his new boots playing for the first team.

Humbug
The after dinner mints at this years BWFC staff Christmas dinner have been replaced by cheaper Humbugs not ordinary Humbugs but a surplus stock of a specially made variety of humbug for sheep so every member of staff will be able to join in the after dinner fun. After me everybody
Bah Humbug

All quiet with just the snippet about us being allowed to keep one of them Henry vacuum cleaners we have borrowed I still can't think of them without picturing dusty bin which is where our borrowed Henry probably belongs

I see Pardew has got the Christmas sack from Palace I think I might have a chocolate money bet on the return of the big man.

I won a bag of chocolate money as the big man got the Palace job whereas Joey Barton will be sitting out football until retirement due to his betting.

Why didn't Iles and the Beano finish early for their holidays and done us a favour instead of printing non stories. I did hear rumour of them doing a photo of Chairman Ken in his Santa outfit with little Lee on his knee holding his famous list I hope Lee didn't spoil it for us by asking for money to be spent. Where's the humbugs

Give it a week and we'll have Chairman Kens New Year's resolution list which this year I gather is rather long and starts with submitting the remainder of the paper work lifting the embargo buying Deans share and finding lots of money down the back of the couch
