Halifax and their failed Super League bid

shock decision Crusaders opting out of Super League....oh my what a huge shock that was

The most interesting one was Harlequins where they basically said it was a poor club bankrolled by the chairman only kept in because it is part of expansion plans and has got some youngsters in the capital playing!!

So if the chairman pulls the plug they would be out, Halifax's application statement came across that they were in better shape than Quins but as a heartland club they were not favoured.

Halifax took a kicking. After what the chairman had to say you would have thought best application ever made.
Just goes to show it aint over till the fat lady and all that.
