Ridiculous!

Sitting there, thinking there's shades of Scholes in Iniesta, and then the other midget pops up. Move over Diego, your time is up.

(But can he do it on a warm July evening in Moscow?)

Can't get the link to work either.

Keeps trying to download an app to my phone

Try this one:

It's where I got it originally, but followed the link to streamable to watch it full-screen.

Apols for any issues caused, it was working fine on my laptop earlier.

Busby, yeah, seems streamable was down for a while. Back up now.

Robb, Iniesta's extremely popular with virtually everyone, but the term 'god' doesn't really fit him.

Is he one of those even Madrid fans admire?

I've only been to Barcelona in recent years tbh, so their influence is expected.

I call him god like because our hotel was literally across the road from the Mestalla and the area had graffiti nearly everywhere bar this huge window sized advert of his smiley face.

Yeah, not as much as the fans of other clubs for obvious reasons, but it's fair to say he's widely acknowledged by our lot too.

Robb, he's probably the most marketable Spanish footballer. As Busby said, his goal won us a World Cup, but as much as that and his pure footballing skills, dedicating the World Cup-winning goal celebration to Dani Jarque spoke volumes about the man behind the player. I dare say that gesture won him a great many admirers too.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, I totally understand why he's so popular. Maybe living in England so long I forgot what a successful native sportsman looked like!

Thanks IOAG. Will try that later

What are your thoughts on Atleti this season? Watched them play on Saturday for the first time in a while and thought they looked very poor.

They struggled to string two passes together at home against Las Palmas, resorted to playing on the counter, didn't look remotely dangerous, yet somehow managed to steal three points.

Hi Rosso,

Sorry, missed your comment yesterday.

I think they've lost their way somewhat. They Atleti started off playing some really good footy, much more attacking than previous seasons. They won some games pretty convincingly, but proved to have a very soft underbelly against the stronger teams.

Simeone now seems to want to revert to type, but they're in a bit of a no man's land right now, stranded between the two approaches.

The league's totally gone now, though they should still comfortably get top 4, but if they can use the next two months to get their act back together, I think they could still be a good outside bet for the CL.

(Notwithstanding, Las Palmas are one of the league's best keep-ball sides - third in the league behind only Barça and Sampaoli's Sevilla. If they stay comfotably midtable this season, I imagine Setién will be manager a bigger side next season.)

That's interesting, thanks IOAG.

I suppose with several match winners in there, if they can tighten things up at the back, they'll still be able to pick off teams like Las Palmas without playing particularly well.
