Martin returning?

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2502937/fulhams-on-loan-striker-chris-martin-tells-club-he-wants-to-end-spell-and-return-to-derby-immediately/

It is the sun but it would make quite a few happy on here. Certainly better than wasting £12m on Rhodes. Would he be welcome back? Or should we be moving on?

Thoughts?

Sorry Vidal's I didn't see your response there. I think it's good that players have some power, had our senior players not thrown their toys out of the pram we might be just out of the relegation zone still arguing about Nigel Pearson. It depends on their motives though for being a tw.t.

I think the problem comes when players choose a big money move that screws a poorer club over and that poorer club did a lot to develop the player.

There's only one greedy bar steward type of thing

I guess all is fair in love and football.

the only exception being when the club responds with a bumper new contract whereupon the player rediscovers the love he always had for the club.

How much for Martin to rediscover his love for Fulham?

That's more than a sixty four thousand dollar question, is my guess anyway.

2w Fulhsm gave him a pay rise to go there. He's happy to take a pay cut to come back to Derby

Why would he come back then more money, Fulham are going places it seems and I think he's guaranteed more football than at Derby.

I guess the river Derwent is pretty spectacular this time of year.

Don't under estimate the attraction to work with McClaren again for Martin

Family, Derbyshire and playing for the Derby I can't question that.

They'd be pi$$ed of with him if he didn't I'd imagine.

Have him if the majority so wish, I'd still rather someone who can actually deliver a ball in the box that the likes of can get on the end off.

0-0 at home against Wigan fffs.
