Tottenhams performance against Watford, so far, has been as good as anything Liverpool have done so far this season. Their performance against City was better than anything Liverpool have done.

Yet there will be no glowing 3 page tributes to the manager or talk of the title.

Well done to the champions elect on being 4 points ahead of Spurs in January.

It must be really frustrating that in the odd year you do get your act together another team have an exceptional year.
