Just got texted this from my forest supporting father in law, Collymore has just tweeted this as well and appears to be gathering pace in the media. 6 months left on his contract, would you sell to them or risk losing him for nothing in the summer.....

Doubt very much we would get top side of 3m for a player with 6 months left on his contract. Unless TWatford and Derby are that keen our hands are tied, don't forget he is also 1 booking away f rom another 2 game ban, not overly important to those two but if he stays another loss to us.

I think bids will stop around the £3m mark and clubs will play the waiting game with Forest. Ultimately, it depends what kind of signals Lansbury and his agents put out.

Watford unwilling to match Derby's rejected £2.5m bid apparently. If a sideways move to the stuttering Sheep are his only option, I can see him staying out at the CG.

If a top six club in the Champ, such as Sheff Weds, Reading or Brighton came in, it may be a different story?

According to the papers Villa have bid in excess of £3m for H. The first things the new owners need is a statement 'of intent', sign immediately or take the money, which in theory would give us £16m for shopping, though tbh I think FAH will have pocketed the £13m long ago.Either way get it sorted and don't let it rumble on.

Villa again aren't in the top six challenging so Bay may not appeal either.

Yep. He uses the same agent as Burke so that rumour could have wings...
