Sponsorship & ground move

Looks like we are moving in the right direction. Admittedly not as much as other clubs but we have to be realistic. Also I am a little confused with the information regarding the ground move, are we wanting/expecting the council to chip in with funds? I hope not as I don't think council's should help towards the building of new stadium. Especially in today's economic environment.

few of my family are big blues and if the rumours are to be believed, there isn't enough money to pay for the ground yourself so have been attempting to sell it to the council as a redevelopment of a whole area and get the funding that way... Sell it as a development opportunity for other big commercial businesses but when it comes to it the budget just doesn't stretch far enough each time.

As I said just rumours from Liverpool.

Also as is said above investors shy away from buying the club due to the ground issue. To be fair it has been a big issue in our past also and why FSG have decided to redevelop Anfield

Mr R

It's looking like either the Docks or Stonebridge (my old stomping ground). Which would you prefer?

Who's the new sponser?

I would like a stadium on the dock, if nothing else it would more than likely look amazing. Not to sure who the sponsor is but apparently £75 million over 5 years including a sponsorship of the training ground. Apparently the club are also looking at a sleave sponsorship, pretty unusual in this country but maybe a sign of things to come?

Heard that we are looking at help from the council but not what form of financial help. Peel holding currently own the site and were already planning on a redevelopment. Also we have a new investor, granted it took a while and as of yet he hasn't don't to much. I would rather do it right than to make a mess of it all over again.

My opinion on this has been the same since Walton Hall and the American's interest before Moshiri.

Big Joe want's a partner for his CG bid and he has also announced development of road and rail links close to Bramley site. the CG are a while away but the design/build could be the tricky part if it is to be a summer conversion to Athletics.

Moshiri has a big and long term job on his hands

Bramley Moor Dock is what many believe to be the preferred site. Would be my preferred choice over redevelopment or other sites

Finch farm is already known as USE Finch farm? Pretty sure it starts at the end of the month, either way it's a good deal
