The radio said Shakey told them Ndidi gave them no choice but to start him and he's obviously justified it. We've got to be very pleased with that. I'm a little relieved because I believed he could settle and be the answer based on what I'd read and seen but you still never know. Not relieved because I wanted to be right just I'd made him the answer in my head and it looks like he could be.Mendy sounded like he had a good game too and Drinkwater getting to play his normal game now he has help alongside him. Pretty happy with our midfield options now.

It sounded more of the same with Ulloa, the ball not sticking and no real outlet offered. It was unfortunate he got injured and hopefully it's not serious but it did us a favour because that formation really needs pace and Musa not only provided that, he showed what he can do when played in the middle. He says he prefers the wing but he's been more effective in the middle for us.

Chilwell put in another impressive performance by all accounts as well.

I feared we'd drop our heads after going one down but the Champions turned up and on to the next round we go. Hoping for a pee easy home game.

Still a bit of a no choice gamble though,
Obviously delighted hes up and running because we need him to allow drinkwater some fredom from defending,
Add Amartey for defensive midfilder or back 3 ??

Looks like we could be back on track,
Especially after the last few games where we had a such a weak set up due to injuries/suspensions.
And maybe now we can change our game back to the fast football of last season and not get hit in midfield if we loose the ball.

3. Kaputska looks awful. Really really awful.

I shouldn't judge a player on 20 mins but wow that was a poor intro from Kaputska. Musa however really took advantage of a team who weren't ready to deal with pace. Credit to him - he actually looked good today. Well played him!

Both goals came from great play, Musa and Vardy up front, pacy attack that?

Was Kaputska played as an inverted winger?

Watch true blue make out Kaputskas performance was actually Ranieris fault . Inverted winger....

Mersey, are we making the same mistake with Kaputska that we as fans have done with Musa and to a certain extent Amartey? Or was he worse than either of those?

Re the new players / this season,
seems to be about players playing out of position for the benifit of system,which ran,said was not working will be intersting now to see if the form continues to get better,and what we see from players as they play in more favourable positions,

You cant be 100% confident in what your supposed to be doing if you know the players behind you haven't got a bloody clue whats going on..

BS - Kaputska just looked like a player who was overawed by the pace of the league. He looks like a player who isn't cut out for this country but obviously that's based on a tiny bit of football.

He looked slow and bereft of confidence. It was quite weird to be honest.

Musa though, I'll hold my hands up. He played well.

I'm gonna judge Ndidi based on 1 game of football. He looks solid. Impressed me a lot but looked slightly off the pace. However, unlike Kaputska who look confused to be on a football pitch he looked class.
