John Terry red card

https://youtu.be/vBYBNOkjCcc

Now, it's difficult for me to appear unbiased as a Chelsea fan but I also play the game and have done for over 20 years.

It's actually pretty simple, I was sat in the MH upper so the furthest away but at the time I thought the attacker did him and he slipped.

Which is basically what happened.. anyone who says otherwise is anti-Terry, a troll, biased, hasn't played the game so doesn't understand it or just an out and out #*^%*

Unlucky, he did slip but he was last man stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Ref could have shown a bit of common sense.

Exactly what I said, common sense!

If the Ref is following the rules then it's the FAs job to change those rules, however, I know the referee is empowered by the FA to make the correct decision and in this case, as usual, the referee didn't.

I also remember watching a game this season, it may have been involving us but the last man was taken out which was worse and he was only given a yellow for it! So the referees do have the power to make their own decision.

We're lucky that Peterborough were utterly dreadful and that we were cruising at 3-0 when it happened.

The officials are extremely well protected and quite rightfully so as they are the cause for many game changing decisions week in week out, something needs to change IMO

Since when did intent come into it?

He slipped, of course.

Still took out the man and denied an obvious goal scoring opportunity, though.

Laughable to hear Conte talk about appealing this one.

Peterborough didn't offer anything upfront. I suppose that's why they're a league 1 side.

The ref was a bit of bēllēnd regarding Terry's red card. Not that we aren't used to this in the epl. Happy with the performance and good to see some of our young players getting game time. Overall satisfied with Chalobah and RLC. Aina looks a bit shoddy and Bats needs to be loaned in order to get game time.

It did ruin the game, it ruined the set up, it ruined the opportunity of some of our players in the sense RLC had to make way, Dave who's a key player had to be risked and brought on as did Kante later on.

Sorry Mons but Peterborough reminded me of Scunthorpe last year, 2-3 attacking players had a right go of it but the rest looked defeated and clearly unmotivated... you're playing a premier league team ffs!? If it was me I'd be running and working my ass off to help the team win but for me I saw that from 2 players and 1 I can't even remember who it was but the right forward/winger looked up for it... 1 of their defenders, I think number 5 looked like he literally was asleep... there was a moment in the second half he was about 5-6 yards behind the other defenders which if Bats had been awake could have taken advantage!

One of the most comfortable non games I've seen at the bridge, the other came against Scunthorpe last year and rivalled to that was Villa away

It hardly matters - no idea why Conte would bother appealing. It's not likely that Terry would be playing anyway.
