Judging by his celebration with Jose, last night... He is here to stay and will continue to get game time. We might not agree, we might not understand, we might wish for better squad players, we might think we already have better squad players... But none of those things will change the fact that he is not going anywhere for at least 6 months, likely longer.
We should be in a place of positivity, right now, 9 wins on the bounce... Yet the great Fellaini debate seems to flow through many articles and, of course the match day thread. We all know he is a limited player, that is why he is not a UTD starter when other options are available.
To be fair to the guy, he has not really put a foot wrong since that awful Everton cameo and has even had some decent performances. 6 or 7/10 at the very most, but that's what you expect from your squad players.
Jose, like Sir Alex before him, has a knack of getting these sort of players giving their all for the cause. How many of us thought Rojo was not UTD quality and as good as useless? I'm not saying or hoping for Fellaini to have such a turnaround, but he can improve under Jose, like many others have and will.
Anyway, the point is... You can either sit back and accept that our manager likes him as a squad player, or continue to waste negative energy on something that can't be changed (if anything, I think the negativity at OT makes Jose more determined!).

Never really had an issue with Fellaini's role at the club.
Useful squad player, adds to the team intelligence (whereas many other residing there just don't) knows what he is doing, has a clue, has a sense of direction.
There are some major holes in the squad. There are several over hyped players that are just not (and are unlikely to be) good enough. Those are the issues that need addressing.
