If this was your Manager would you be happy

or...............Pi$$ed off at him for giving this statement? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38595765

To me if feels like it could be taken either way:

Either a poor call in judgement, almost up there with AVB banning Malouda and Anelka from the car park etc. Dirty Laundry in public.

Or………….

Bilic is heading off (in advance) why he has dropped arguably his most talented player.

I can see both sides of the argument. If they start losing matches then, he doesn't have to answer why he isn't picking him.....

Neither really. Just easing the fans to the idea of inevitably selling an asset. Bog standard political maneuvering.

Think they're holding out for something like 40mil and will wind up settling on 30. He'll be this window's deadline day saga.

D.A.

I’d be unhappy with paying even 30 for him.

So far, to me he’s a single season wonder. At least in our Premier League. Which to me is what counts.

agree with that flash

Yeah I think so.....he's covering his arrrse (rightly so) or posturing to get out while he can himself without being hated.

Agree Galv, if Payet plays and is rubbish the fasn will not look to Bilic they will blame Payet, and if Payet has said this then why not tell the fans, at least Bilic is putting forward a united front for the club.

It's about time a club made a stand against players like this and left them to rot in the reserves for a significant period of time. He only signed a new contract 6 months ago ffs.

Agreed. But Bilic going public is very aggressive, suggesting they're determined to drag this out to squeeze every last penny.

PSG are ripe for a few panic buys in this window. They've already taken a punt on Draxler, I could see them paying 30mil for Payet this month.

Bilic was totally right to call him out for refusing to play. Now he can't pretend to be hard done by, everything is out in the open.

He'll probably be gone before the end of the window, but he'll have lost a few potential suitors due to his attitude

Billic has done everything right. He's let the fans know what Payet's attitude is like and how pathetic he is being, and why he won't be played. And he's letting clubs know they're not going to be mugged off by accepting a smaller fee. And letting the players know he's not a mug.

Well done to him and fk Payet, this is about the 6th time he's done this, $cummer

Rightly or wrongly I sympathise and agree with Bilic, too many players these days love topping up the contracts to get on the big wages but then want to jump ship as soon as the Lager's not cold anymore.

Reminds me that I've seen this sort of behaviour on a more widespread scale at another Club quite recently...........

He is too good for West Ham, but it was his choice to sign for them.....and to sign a new, improved contract.

Thing is, there is no value in West Ham keeping him. He seems like a bit of a deek to be honest, is not the type for a selfless relegation battle, and his value will only diminish.

This is just the opening exchange for his sale I think. If I was West Ham, I would be looking at getting players coming the other way in any deal. Players with the stomach for a fight
