If the press are to be believed Operation Deforestation is about to be scrapped. The successful and quite brilliant Agent Al Hasawi in his covert mission could have brought down the whole sorry history of Notts Forest. A club, that got very lucky a long time ago at the expense of a far more deserving team.
It would appear that following a lengthy meeting with his superiors, it was decided that the club would charitably be given the chance to live another day, the loss of a rivalry was seen as more important than complete annihilation.
There are rumours of Agent Clough returning to the Trent to ensure Forest never get above mediocre again, however consensus seems to favour letting Forest recover and ending hostilities, even the temporary appointment of Gary Rowett as a peace offering is being mooted.
However, Agent Al Hasawi in his steadfast duty to our club has offered us all some wonderful experiences without which I'm sure we all know Forest would probably have won everything including the Anglo Italian Cup, CONCACAF and beaten Iceland.

It's getting to the stage where even Billy would turn them down.
I'm no expert on having lots of money but in my mind it'd make more sense to hire people that can run a football club, try and stay up with a bit of loan market temporary fixing and then do the austerity thing and look to sell when the club is worth something as opposed to hemorrhaging value quicker than a Matej Vydra substitute appearance.
(Vydra still will come good though )
