I am not a fan of the false number 9 position and seriously doubt it can work over the long run for PL teams.
In the last few seasons whenever we tried it we failed miserably, but this season against Stoke and Leicester it has actually proved to be successful yielding 7 goals in two games.
I think a big reason why it might be working is the form of Pedro. His movement and first touch is top draw and he is really looking a handful.
Thoughts?
False number 9 working because of Pedro?

It was Bournemouth and six goals. We were dire though

With or without Costa this evening this could have been a serious 'banana skin'. So I'm pleased with the response from the players after the Spurs loss.
Now I'm hoping for a draw between pool and utd.

It really helps having another goalscorer in the team definitely

Pedro is now getting it together, after initially struggling to adapt to the PL,he is the epitome of the team player.
It seems to me that Conte, is setting the mindset of these players to have a strong collective focus ,fair play to him.

Yes, Pedro is quite familiar with the system from the Barca days. Looked like a write off last season, but fair play to him, he has stepped it up this season.

I'd prefer a Liverpool win. Knock Mou's bollox out of the equation.

You're spot in Biggish, even when Hazard is the main focal point positionally, it is the runs of Pedro which gives an outlet for first time balls and adds the angles.
Think about that early goal against United, he does even more if that when we don't have a number 9.
