Monk Contract

3 year and hopefully we will be up this or next season - by which time a pay off will be negligible as we will be raking it in and probably will have such decent team Monk and his team will be around for a while.

Basically a rerun of 89/92 as someone alluded to on another thread.

Monk is a man with a plan. The thing I like most of all about him is his commitment to improving the mentality, skills and performance of everyone involved in the squad and the betterment of 'the group' as he would call it.

We can't beat people on spending power so we beat them on coaching, tactics and teamwork. Not rocket science but it has taken someone with a vision like Monk to start doing this at Leeds.

Its good when people can see his plan, he was getting slammed for not having one and not being able to do interviews right!..

He's got these player's that nobody had heard of and had people saying, oh no, here we go again, and shut the bloody lot of us up!..

Great when someone can do that for the right reasons!.

Give him a 2 and a half year deal. By then we will hopefully have spent at least one season back in the big time.

I was one of them Germany and I am now tucking into a nice slice of humble pie!

Rob!.....looking around there seems to be a lot eating the same!..

But humble pie is as good as any when served correctly!..

Need to get it signed sooner rather than later.

After that performences gain at derby teams will be taking note and will know he has no time left on his contract.

Deserves it to be extended

From everything Radz said over the last couple or
so days, it seems he understands the importance of
Monk being at the club, longer term.

I like that AR stated over and over, he needs to
keep out of the way and let Garry and the coaches
do their job, after recognizing how well they are
doing.

Would not be surprised if this happens this week.
