Well it has to be said, this guy is utterly clueless, the look on his face just after Everton scored that second goal at the start of the second half was priceless!
He looked haunted,he had no idea whatsoever what to do next with no Lionel Messi,Xavi Hernandez,Andres Iniesta,Sergio Busquets,Samuel Eto'o,Ronaldinho,Thierry Henry,Carles Puyol,Thomas Mueller,Mario Gotze,Mario Gomez,Philipp Lahm,Arjen Robben,Robert Lewandowski,Manuel Neuer and all the other wealth of megastars he has always had at his disposal up until now!
So what happens if old Pep doesn't even qualify for the Champion's League this year, any English manager like Pulis or
Allardyce would have been sacked this morning so will the owners do the decent think and sack this abject failure?

Why don't they just convert Stones to a holding midfield role and get a proper defender.

You aren't wrong saying that, I thought that for a while now.

This seems a very sensible idea

You have Yaya Tourist standing around sightseeing on the pitch, when Stones could do that job with more enthusiasm. Makes sense.

to be fair..he's looked a lot better of late...he was woefully slow & looked overweight last term...barely fitted his shorts
He was unbelievably good 2-3 seasons back..unplayable most games

Yaya played a lot further forward then and he just isn't and never has been a proper CM, more of cross between a 10 and 9.
Fernandinho missing and Gundogan has been the downfall, but a manager with that many funds should have a bigger squad, playing Zaba and Toure in CM I knew it was going to be a disaster, KDB didnt look fully fit, Aguero wasn't in it and Silva looks knackered. I don't get how poor this City can be with all they have spent?

Yeah 2 or 3 seasons ago. He's in decline now albeit he's still a useful player to have. Don't think he's first 11 quality for a team like City anymore. They can't afford to carry someone every other game.
