Our next 10 games

Assuming we get to the league cup final here are our next 10 league games...

Stoke away
Hull home
Leicester away
Watford home
Bournemouth home
Saints away
Boro away
West Brom home
Everton home
Sunderland away

There's no reason we can't win a good 8 of those. Liverpool gave us a hard match yesterday but them and only Spurs are the type of side who press like that in this league so I can't see yesterday being the day the wheels come off. We have some tough away matches at the end of the season so hopefully we win enough of these games to have a buffer for when we do drop some points in the Spurs/City/Arsenal away games.

The St Etienne game shouldn't affect us too much as the first leg takes place before an FA Cup weekend and the second leg before the league cup final weekend.

In Jan/Feb/March when these 10 games happen here are the games involving the other five rivals..

City vs Spurs
City vs Liverpool
Chelsea vs Arsenal
Liverpool vs Arsenal
Liverpool vs Chelsea
Liverpool vs Spurs

So if we keep winning games we will get into the top 4 sooner rather than later. The trick will be to stay there.

I doubt we'd draw at home to West Brom. They are woeful away from home against the big sides. And saints away isn't likely to be a loss. They've been poor too. As have Leicester.

As for where Liverpool and the rest will drop points, above in the Op is a guide to where guaranteed points will be dropped.

If by woeful you mean, very good and hard to braek down against both chelse and arsenal, you'd be correct.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We beat them with ease at their place and they just lost 4-0 to Spurs

you said they are woeful away from home against the big teams. They just played poorly against spurs who are on a run thaats it

I think yesterdays performance may throw abit of a spanner in the works for the confidence of the team, especially Pogba.

Desperately needed the win yesterday but we just did not turn up.

We didn't recover well from the City loss, that was the start of a downward spiral.

Yesterday certainly had the feeling of a loss, we were really very poor and there will some damaged egos.

I'd say yesterday was the first time this season we've gone in as favourites in a big game and the players attitudes seemed alittle all too overconfident for me.

Think Liverpool would have ran out comfortable winners yesterday had Mane and Matip been involved.

Christ,Mane vs Darmian would have been torture

I wouldn't say the players would be too disheartened after yesterday.

We played badly and would have lost that under the last two managers after going a goal down and having a shocker. But we fought back and won't be distraught.

Ah yes, you're the poster who got mocked for your weird sad article the other day. Glad to see you bounced back

i see bianconero/mex made an apperance yesterday, 9 wins on the bounce and not a peep from him, drop a couple of points and he's back.

beats sitting there stewing over juve's defeat i guess.
