City Loan System

I think that our loan system is crazy. To allow senior players ( who could help us out in times such as now ) to leave on loan whilst the club is still paying a large part of thier salary is inept in the least. These players if they do not want to stay and fight for a place, should find another club to buy them and take a reduction in salary if necessary. If this does not happen they may as well stay at City and sit on the bench until they are required.
Also the policy of keep sending our best young players out on loan ( to sit on thier bench in many cases ) needs looking at. They might as well stay at City and train an learn with the senior team. Matteo and Angelino are two who should not have been sent out.

I just think the criticism of Pep is significantly more over-hyped than that of Klopp, Mourinho, Wenger and Pocchetino when they lose. All of those managers have had far more experience in the PL, even Klopp said he needed 12 months, now LFC are seeing the rewards, but all of the above have won nothing yet this season, including Chelsea.

It's really not the same!

Take your point, but I think manager's are focused on when they get a thumping more so than when their team loses a lead.

Also, Pep comes as a reputation probably for the best manager in the world - of course he will attract more criticism than the others.

It's not an anti City thing, it's just the way the world works.

Nah Mourinho and Wenger get slated really bad when they lose. Agree about Pochettino and Klopp, though.

You weren't scintilating against Arsenal. And where did I say you're rubbish because Everton battered you? Putting words in my mouth. Same with me saying those sides are playing wonderful football as well. You're arguing against yourself.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Semantics. You said we're 'struggling and struggling on the pitch through our performances'...you also said expectations, but that's an assumption. Expectations from most City fans, would have been top four, good cup run, possibly win one and a quarter, semi-final place in the CL.

None of us will know whether our expectations as fans will be met, but I'm sure that not many fans thought we'd be 7 points clear of everyone by now. All clubs have made strides this season as expected, so it was always going to be a tough season for Pep in his first year. Could it have been better? Of course it could, but I'm sure most fans could say that about their teams.
I'm sure there are some that aren't happy with where we are and are disappointed, no doubt.

You would say that though...

Well yeah because it's true. It's been happening for over a decade with Mourinho and Wenger.

But don't they both deserve it more than any other Managers in world football?

Yeah only Rafa deserves it more.
