* Sutton play on a 3G pitch which is completely different to actual grass. We play good football so I wouldn't imagine it affecting us to much. They reckon no teams like playing on it and that they have a good chance if Leeds make 7/8 changes (which we will)
* Leeds are now 3rd favourites to sign Fabian Delph. He's set to hand in a transfer request and West Brom are closest to signing him, although our odds have been slashed on bringing him back
Your thoughts on the 3G pitch and Delph being linked?
3G Sutton and Delph

Our guys should like playing on 3G, especially the passers and the wingers. They will probably have plenty of experience on it, and if not, can always come to Harrogate Town to train a few times

I'm liking the 'Super Leeds' tag.
Hope you don't mind if I borrow it next time I make a thread, Shaun. Probably wo't be until 2018, mind.
As for Delph, I don't think we can compete. No idea if this is true, but seems plausible, 3.5 years left at £90k a week. That's over £16m in wages. I know he wants to play, but how much of a pay cut will he take?

Feel free Sol. Yh the 3G feels strange over winter. Our local FA are debating whether to converge all grassroots games in our area to a sole 3g pitch as opposed to the current format

Since the Minus 15 season, there are two players
I'd want back at Leeds in a heartbeat:
Delph & Snoddy

I was at the AFC Wimbledon/Sutton Utd game last night, Sutton were very physical and the ref did nothing to deter them, even exceedingly hard challenges...there was one in particular during the 2nd half where you could hear the boot/bone contact around the ground.
I would worry about how many of our players will get injured and the effects on the rest of our season.
BTW it was good seeing so many Leeds fans around last night, we have a lot around the area.

Don't like players returning NO matter who or why. Once left, please stay away. It never seems to work out. JMO....

South London. Ground holds 5000k.

The simple fact is we don't need a CM, so we won't waste funds on a luxury signing.

Be a different ball game against us as we have hard players, what's more the high profile nature of the game will see the ref stays on point...hopefully

Physically we'll be fine, just let Bartley or Jansson off the lead as well as Berardi and Phillips.
