so apparently we waste a lot of money, on useless talent who like dabbing and selling emoji flavoured instant noodles.
i decided to do a little fact checking and create a little table of teams who've won the premier league (sorry liverpool, maybe next year) and their NET cost per premier league win -(net spend / league wins)
1st place - Leicster City - 18.58m (18.58/1)
2nd place - man utd 37.4m (487/13)
3rd place - arsenal - 59.3m (178/3)
4th place - chelsea - 177m (711/4)
5th place - man city - 400.5m (801/2)
for what its worth if liverpool were to win the league this year they'd pip man city to 5th place (sign of things to come?) with a very respectable net spend of 381m pounds for a premier league trophy.
to put that into perspective if man utd spent another 3.5 BILLION QUID NET and didnt win the league before liverpool did they would still of used their money far more wisely. (370m quid per title - and thats assuming in that time liverpool didnt spend a penny)
4 billion quid. Yet we wasted the money......
spurs would just sneak in ahead of chelsea with 170m net spend for a single premier league trophy.
i am so glad we are so reckless with our spending, and we waste it on such useless talent. being the highest revenue generating team globally and only needing to spend half a pogba to win the league is really ridiculous.
