Bailly and Smalling

How do they get back into the team? Individually they're our best centre backs in my opinion but Jones and rojo have seemed to have built a real partnership. I'm still not too confident in them though.

Rojo makes me nervous as hell with his clearances. He seems to panic whenever the ball comes near him and he's under a bit of pressure. I feel it will cost us a goal or two sooner or later.

Jones has been excellent since he came back but I feel there's still a mistake or two in him and that he'll inevitably be injured sooner or later.

Do we stick by these two till an injury or a mistake or do we try and get our best centre backs playing again?

Dunc, I don't think he's great defensively but neither are Blind and Shaw, they're also not great going forward but Darmian is diabolical going forward. At least Blind offers a cross and Shaw offers pace. Really don't think Darmian offers anything much at all.

Play the current pair until injury or loss of form makes a change inevitable. Defence partnerships benefit from playing regularly as a unit.

I know Blind had a really good game at LB against Leicester but I don't really recall him doing much since, especially not offensively with any crosses.

Jose usually builds sides on solid defences and while Tony, Jones, Rojo and Darmian might not be the best on paper, they must be doing what Jose wants and that's why they're playing. It's up to the 'better' players to convince Jose they deserve to be starting.

The Chelsea game was a big turning point for both smalling and blind for me.
Jose just doesn't seem to fancy them since then. You can't really fault either Rojo and Jones much however yes both do have an error in them. I actually think smalling and Jones are a good partnership. We do need a bit of composure on the ball at times at the back though which the likes of Blind and Bailly bring. Rojo, Jones, smalling and Darmian do panic a bit when under pressure

TFM...Bailly...Smalling...Shaw

That would be tasty!

If it was my choice though I'd sell Rojo, bench Smalling and jones and buy virgil van dijk.

TFM...Bailly...Van Dijk...Shaw

Even tastier!

Remove Shaw. We can do a lot better than him, and should be looking to get someone who is good going forward in the summer. Blind is a better option than Shaw.

They will return to the side. Jones and Rojo showed against Liverpool why they should not be starting consistently for us at CB

I bought Bailly for my Fifa 16 team, and played him in the Carrick/Makélélé role in front of my back 4. He's been a crucial player for my team in winning the PL, CL and FA cup over a few seasons. I'd recommend playing him in that role as he's swift, tall and good at passing. Only issue is his stamina, but we've worked on that over the years. Just a tip for you Manc's.

The only way either will get back in the team is when one of Jones and Rojo gets injured.

The wait shouldn't be long for Mike.

There's no way Jose should feck with our current CB pairing until we're hit by an injury or one of the two of them loses form.

If it were up to me, most games we'd be starting automatically with:

V1000---Jones---Rojo---Blind
