Derby County 3 - 2 Reading

So, back to the drawing board after our spectacular, if slightly non-convincing, stuttering unbeaten run. Good thing is, we can start it again.
As the saga with CM continues, Stevie Mac is still hopeful of getting him back but it is slowly dawning that WE agreed at the start of the season WE couldn't take him back

Full back issues abound as they were exposed with X rated regularity by a (strong) Leeds side who fully expected us to wipe the floor with them.....t'was not to be....

Centre backs - I think the consensus was that dropping Pearce was a grave mistake and I fully expect, nay, demand that he is reinstated with Keogh, Keogh, Keogh again.

So, any improvement in the offing come Saturday, 3.00pm?

Midfield issues abound as de Saart was sussed out very quickly and BJ has gone back to his old (crap) ways, Bryson is past it and Hughes is just half a performance away from a big money move......

Forward issues......oh sod it.....we know.....

Yes, Reading were poor at their place earlier but no-one can be that poor against the same team twice....surely?

Team News when we get it....

Yours:-

Once the players got McLaren's kick up the backside after the first half hour we were good value today. I thought there were lots of good if not outstanding performances. Olsson maybe the pick for me but Bryson had his best game for an eon, snapping at heels as of old. JR too showing why we value him.

When Bent scores we overlook the overall lack of contribution. He has done OK this season but I think we really suffer from a lack of a player who can receive the ball or even stretch the play. Without a focal point I don't think we are real contenders. It's a pity because Reading, Leeds, Sheff Wed and Huddersfield are no great shakes, and even the Brighton are no world-beaters. It would have been a good season to have a proper tilt at it.

I think the problem is we've failed to adapt to Bent's game trying to play through balls, trying to play it into feet or on his head, if we'd played it into his Bradley Johnson more often Chris Martin would be fading into the memory quicker than a Ross McCormack training session.

We rise.

I see Keogh managed to find himself 10 yards of space at a corner again!

Shame it was at theirs, mind.

Magnificent assist for the equaliser that changed the game. Football genius. There seems to be no aspect of the game at which he does not excel. Many superb clearing headers late on when we were under the cosh too. Captain Fantastic yet again.

Has he ever played for Rochdale though?

Ang, when you go to the Ipswich game, will you be going by train or your Massey Ferguson?

Yes, Vidal and 666 I thought Keogh was outstandingly good at both defending and pushing our midfield up field. Reading just could not beat him in the air and his linking runs and shear speed across the ground were something else... Neither could they deal with his great cross for Bent to get the equaliser after which The Rams and their fans just relaxed and enjoyed it.

Not sure yet, Scouse.
Depends on the times of the trains before & afterwards.
Might get the train from Diss, but most likely car ?

He has always dreamed of playing for Rochdale, does that count?
