Milners every cross was long. We need a real left back. He was poor.
Origi can't even hold the ball. Gone backwards. He reminds me more of N'gog. Not good enough for Liverpool.
Can is garbage. Enough said.
Henderson panics under pressure. Ball watching and not trying to tackle. No creativity. Very poor. For the 1st goal he lost his man from the corner. For the 3rd goal he was ball watching while the player moving right and left with the ball and he was just following him. Been saying for ages. He's overrated.
Clyne good going forward but poor at the back.
Mig. Need a new keeper.
Studge. Body language indicates he's not happy and hence not working hard enough.
Klavan and Lovren. Shaky. Lucas makes us more solid at the back. Matip next game.
Lallana was poor as well.
Wijnaldum. Struggled. Not sure if he knew what was his position. May be Klopp plan to play three similar players in him Can and Henderson made it difficult for the players. Needed a wide player instead.
Firmino our best player and not surprised he got the goals
Coutinho not his best but should have stayed. He is the only midfielder with creativity and can score from free kicks or outside the box. Wenger never subs Ozil or Sanchez only when the game is over.
Klopp given money but refuses to spend. Second Jan window without bringing anyone in. Looks like it. Doesn't have plan B which works. Poor team selection and sub. Klavan and Can shouldn't have started.

I think Liverpool needs a proper defensive midfielder. Would take pressure of the defence

Agree. Henderson currently plays in that position but how can a player who can't tackle, play in that position. Can sometimes move into that position but is worse. Stewart is our best defensive midfielder but his passing is poor.

In fairness Milner hasn't been great recently but he's been good all season, I do agree we shouldn't be playing a slow right midfielder at left back though.
Henderson is a good player and important for us.
My greatest criticism is beyond the players and manager but as a club, for as long as I've been alive every time we look like being more than a decent team to actually doing something, we choke.
It's so disheartening.

Until we start competing with the other clubs for big signings then we will be on repeat like this for seasons to come.....
The pond we fish from gets you 8-4th at best. The only thing we can hope for is that we scape into the CL and go from there.
Frankly if Klopp gets an offer from a club than can attract better players like Bayern for instance then we could be in a far worse situation than we are now.
4th will be a huge achievement for us this season. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

We are becoming like Arsenal of previous years. The manager and everyone know our weaknesses in specific positions and has the money to spend but refuses to do so .Still can't solve the problem of conceding from crosses and set pieces. Reluctant to buy a defensive midfielder and a left back. Still can't solve the goalkeeping problem. Arsenal had all of that but got over them now. They bought two good GKs. Have Coq as their main DM despite being poor at passing but he knows how to tackle and clear the ball. We may need to play Stewart or Lucas, drop Can and move Henderson in the centre. Origi Should not even be on the bench. We may need to buy a new striker as well. Ayose Perez reminds me of a young Suarez. 15m could get him.

Agree fully, at the risk the flat-earther's out there make the normal accusations of fans being plastic or not proper.
A blip in performance which all teams experience occasionally has evolved into a consistent inability to secure points and goal difference. You don't need to be an expert to see how thin our squad is, how badly illness or absence impacts on the team's aspirations. How we continually compare ourselves to those clubs who have a targeted investment plan in infrastructure and player assets whereas we are compliant with one that relies purely on historical achievement.
Klopp needs to recognise he keeps making glaring mistakes in selection, and drive the club's leadership into making the investments we so badly need.
