He'll be holding up a Fulham/Leeds or Derby shirt next week.

Was a pretty poor excuse.

Think Bruce's dealings with the players is spot on. People have been saying McCormack should be playing instead of Gabby, but Gabby has been putting in the miles since Bruce opened the door for him and had a very good game yesterday. McCormack is not only unfit, on the pitch he looks as though he can't be bothered.

Likewise RHM, who thinks he's bigger than the club. He isn't.

To be fair he has been shiiiiit

But who would take him on without us losing out big time?

I like the way Bruce has handled it, surprised he didnt bulldoze his gate down and drag him into the car to try and lose some flab.

We may not be pressing for promotion as we want but little things are happening that didnt before...... lets be patient

Ideal opportunity to regroup with no cup game so no game till window shuts

It is pretty common knowledge around the Leeds area that he has a drink and gambling problem. I expect that the security gate was just a poor attempt at an excuse following a bender. Good footballer, but he has always been suspect in terms of his application and mental strength.

It seems weird that he has been considered the best striker in the Championship for several seasons now, yet no team will take him at the top level. I agree he looks like a drinker, though obviously there is no proof of that, only hearsay.

He was always on the lash in and around the city when at Leeds. I saw him a few times myself and some younger lads I know that are out more often then me saw him all the time. His drinking was the reason that Cardiff sold him so cheap too.

To be fair I wanted him in over Gabby for the game on Saturday, but totally understand why he wasn't picked now. I still don't want Gabby leading the line for us as he doesn't score goals, but McCormack needs to be moved on as his attitude is appalling.

Whenever I've seen him he looks to have class about him and technical ability, would probably be a fantastic footballer if he actually had the right attitude but then would be in the Premier League and not the Championship.

Hopefully we can get a similar price for him if he is moved on. I'm hugely against selling Ayew as I think he's a great footballer, and no way should we swap for Barrow. Personally I'd prefer Hernandez over Rhodes as I don't think we should play with a target man and Hernandez has pace and can play in behind, even if we do have to pay more for him.

Hourihane, Bree and Hernandez in and we may still have a chance at playoffs, albeit a very small one.
