Xhaka

Surprised by how little he's been slated. Sure, he's gotten some, but not nearly as much as you'd expect for how much of a liability his stupid, impulsive, decision-making has been to the team. 2 damn straight-reds and 2 penalties conceded for his clumsiness and missing 7 domestic matches through suspension: just below a 5th of the league season. Hope at the least, he gets fined some wages. You just want to slap that dopey look of faux innocence off his face when he makes yet another stupid challenge.

What rankles the most about this recent one is we're already short in CM. Already missing Santi, Elneny and Wilshere, we're lucky Coq came back sooner than projected and will have to wrap him and Ramsey in cotton wool. We need our players to have reliable temperaments. To be totally dominating a match and seemingly cruising only for a moment of stupidity to totally change the game is immensely frustrating. You look at the Bournemouth match where we were 1-down after a shocking start, but starting to take control and another moment of stupidity saw him concede a penalty against a player racing diagonally away from goal at the side of the facking box.

Genuinely believe this guy's signing was a mistake. European football is hardly lacking for midfeld talent and we should have done better. He has some talent in his left foot, but hardly the level of talent that could see you condone his mad moments.

What about the other seven red cards he got Germany in the last three years?

I don't follow German football. I can only comment on what I've seen

His red card against Swansea was a red. At the time, immediately after the game, I argued it wasn't. But changed my mind after replays. He didn't just cynically trip the player, which would usually be a yellow, he basically hacked him down with a ridiculous lunge kick and he genuinely hurt Barrow. It was dangerous play.
He could have got a red for the Allen elbow against Stoke that caused the penalty. What's for sure is he seems a magnet for trouble. Why the hell always him?

He needs to learn that in this league opposition players will cheat to sway the referees
------------------------------------------

That's hardly unique to the PL. I'm pretty sure players dive in Bundesliga and try to sway refs too. I dare say the PL discourages theatrics and gamesmanship more than any other league.
FFS, the guy is not a 17-year-old who just arrived from the Tahiti league. He's an international athlete in his prime years who arrived here from a Champions League level club (where he was captain) in one of Europe's top leagues. He needs to adapt to the pace of PL football, but I'd have presumed his erratic temperament is more a personal feature he needs to work on PERSONALLY.

Well it would suggest that it's the player that's the problem not the league he plays in.

Suprised that not everyone will over-react and needlessly bash a player beyond reason?

I'm not.

"Surprised by how little he's been slated".

Sums up the pathetic little man who doesn't realise what it means to support a team

Yep....It's better to blame the ref for doing his job, rather than the grown adult who does dumb sheite. That's how to "support" the team. At least, in the world of imbeciles, that's how it's done.

It's only strengthened you for four games...less chance of having to play with ten men

Is it 9 red cards in 3 years? He really is not that good of a player. Decent passing and shots. He's like Charlie Adam
