This year is not Liverpool's year

Fair play to Liverpool for keeping tabs on Chelsea until yesterday. Now, it seems the gap is bigger after losing to Swansea at home.

Anyway, I can conclude this year is not your year.

Sheriff is obviously one of these new fans that would rather qualify for a trophy then rest players to try to qualify for it again the following year rather than win a trophy

Young boys nowadays...I give up

Think a list of LFC cliche thread needs to be started. As it seems like everytime I'm on here I just read the same tired posts again and again. Why is winning a trophy seen as a horrible thing. As a fan, coach and player you want to play in finals and win otherwise what is the point in watching football just to finish in money spots. Sure they are important but nobody remembers who were the top 4 decades ago. As young kid you always loved a lengthy cup run.

That new stand has killed the Atmos.

Ground looks awful unbalanced mess now

Klopps not happy with fans
That's for sure

He should ensure they have something to cheer about, rather than forcing fans to sit freezing cold watching a bunch of overpaid disinterested players wander aimlessly about the pitch.

As a young kid yeah...Liverpool won everything when I was a kid...but there was no money in the game and no CL
One begets another and whilst winning a cup is great you can't compare it to being in Europe's elite comp now, rather a nice bonus bit of silver and a day at Wembley

Doesn't make it a small club mentality though....

I agree with the essence of what you say, but look at Arsenal. Continuous qualification for the CL, but still not happy. Make no mistake, when you're not winning them, trophies matter.

Chelsea have won 5 league cups in over 50 years of its existence yet this chump thinks they are too good for it

Modern fans deserve to be rinsed by UEFA.

Arsenals shortcomings are the stuff of legend...that can basically be put down to one thing...Wenger...long may he continue

From a Chelsea point of view..if you offered me throwing the league cup final for a top 4 spot....we'd be picking up theose runners up medals all day long

Robbing Hoody however thinks the opposite...thisi s what I'm alluding to as small club mentality (like Spurs who fielded a weakened CL team (who lost) to save their best for playing us,...which they lost
