Booo!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38725134

Was always gonna be a stretch persuading both him and City to keep him on our books for another season.

Gonna be a tough ask getting into that City team as they aren't short in attacking talent.

All the best to him when he does go though

"If he is not gonna be used by Pep and then I would bid up to around £5m for him, for an English player at his age and potential its still pretty much money in the bank."

del not sure what City payed up front or highley they rate him but if he continues to develop he will be worth more than we pay for him after 2-3yrs imo

But like anything it will be up to City and the player no matter what we WANT to happen, would break wee KT's heart to see his first love leave anaw

£5M???

At 19 and that good, I can't see any bid under £10M being considered at all by City - even then I'd expect to see a hefty sell-on recuperation for them.

If he doesn't make it at city there will still be plenty of other clubs down south who can out bid and offer him a start.

Hate to admit it, but I really cant see us getting him on a perm. I think wer'e dreaming. Paddy's the kind of player we sell, not buy, these days.

I didnt necessarily mean that 5m would get him but I if I were Celtic Id bid up to and around that figure which would be considered a high bid basing on Celtics buying history over the last few years.

I think it was around £9m up front with a further £3m in add ons. That is purely from what Im trying to remember, I havent bothered to look it up so might be wrong

we might go back in for Hernanes if he goes

What we should do is offer city £4M and give them a buy back clause of £2M available after 2 seasons

when they feel he is ready to play in the city side they simply trigger thier buy back clause ,

They will also have nullified their add -ons from the £12M transfer , so effectively they will have saved £3M ( add ons ) and recieved our £2M profit on him

viola !!! they have their player fully developed having only paid a bargain price of £7M for him

Was always a loan deal and the lad has stated many times he wants to make it at City ( I don't think he will but he has got to try) .....enjoy him while he is here and then concentrate on our players for the new season....he will be replaced

He's been a terrific loan signing in all honesty, 18 months for very little cost and he's been a joy to watch for most of that time.

He was the bright spark in a miserable final 6 months last season and he was outstanding before his injury against Astana in the return leg. Took him a while to get going again but he's picked up again the past few months.

He probably doesn't get enough goals in all honesty but he has his fair share of assists this season
