If they are true and he has his heart set on Madrid, then in my opinion we should see out his contract and let him go for free in 2019.
I know we could get a world record keeper fee for him but i honestly don't care, for these reason's.
1. No one on his level is attainable, Oblak is the closest but we would have to pay almost money on par for whatever we get for Courtois and as good as Jan is, he's not Tibo.
2. We don't need the money, we have the new TV deals and two new massive sponsorship deals.
3. To tie in with the money point, Courtois in goal for two more years = a bigger chance of league and CL success and quite frankly that eclipses any fee we could get and i mean any, we are Chelsea, not Arsenal.
4. Two years is a long time, he might have a change of heart ala De Gea and sign a new deal.
5. He's 27 in 2019, he will still be young enough for a decade at Real if that's what he truly desires.
Also maybe if were lucky we could find a top young keeper like we did with Courtois in the first place and loan him out for two years and by the time 2019 comes he can slot in, but i'm under no illusion's that is a long shot, for one Courtois there's 100 Delac's.
Hopefully it's all rubbish and he will sign a new contract, but if it is true this is the action i think we should take.

Courtois really hasn't been that great for us. Bar a few months this season he hasn't hit anywhere near the levels he did for Atletico in Chelsea blue
