1 win in 7..back to back home defeats!

No other conclusion that we have been found out, any team playing us can just sit back and drop a bank of 4 and 5 in front; easy peasy then break on us with pace, bang we lose the game.

Swansea and Saints have done EXACTLY the same, two banks and hit on the break. Make no mistake we have become pedestrian and pass...pass..pass sideways and back, back and sideways; its really fkn turgid!

Take nothing away from saints, they played a PERFECT 2 games Vs us and tbh should have beat us 5-0 over the two legs. Our MF is shot and their is no movement in front at all.

Maybe just maybe we HAVE been overachieving, and now we are seeing that our squad cant cope with so many games in a short period, we have suffered and we haven't played well for about 6 games now; we haev been very poor.

Klopp will NOW have to start to show his mettle, hes a top manager and hopefully we will see why. I am now worried about top 4, we have CFC next at Anfield and if we play as we have been then quite frankly we are fkd!

Lets not forget tonight Saints were missing their best Cbs and prowse went of injured, then they brought on a young lad and we STILL couldnt score; 3 Hrs of foooty Vs saints and we cant score....absolutely shocking!

I don't think the issue is with Klopp

The team is at best average and been saying it for so long!?

Ageing and too one dimensional

We need a dominant mf player, and yes we should go out and buy the best available.

The other day it was a wide forward.

Liverpool fans thinking that selling Sturridge for £25m would be a bad deal....

good point Arouna

A team that has Milner (close too 100 years old) and he's one of their best and highest players

That tells you the whole picture

Spurs still couldn't beat us even though we fielded a 100 year old player who's high

One trophy in over 25 years. LAS.

Millers 31. Hardly that old. Especially given he still runs a 100 miles a game.

Don't see why anyone knocks Milner. Been consistently good all season

I think the formation is wrong personally. I don't agree with not playing an our and out No.10 in this Liverpool midfield. At the moment, it's all too easy to play against. The central midfield currently looks like this:

------------Henderson----------
--Wijandlum/Can---Lallana--

The attack of Liverpool looks like this:

---Mane----Firmino----Coutinho---

That's their strongest side they can field imo and gets them the best results so far. But I think it needs to change.

The 3 in midfield isn't enough. Teams will now come and sit with 11 men behind the ball. They will have a back 4 to occupy the front 3, easy enough and a midfield 5 to marshal the 3 in midfield for Liverpool and even if the full backs come forward, the opposition centre forward with any pace can easily exploit that back line. It's all too easy. Even at times, the wingers of some teams sit in at full back so teams begin to play with a 6-3-1 formation sometimes (Soton demonstrated that at times last night).

There is no movement in that front line. Teams sit deep to restrict the space in behind so balls in behind become very difficult to play. The CB's don't mark anyone because Liverpool's CF tried to pull away from them which makes it too easy for the CB's who don't mark anyone at all. But the 5 in midfield make it hard because then the 3 in midfield for Liverpool can't make any runs forward because they will be dispossessed easily and they can't find passes into the front 3 because the space is covered and it's difficult to find a pass without giving the ball away. This is why Liverpool always play sideways and backwards because they can't find that pass through because there is no link up man to get the ball into the attacking areas.

This is where the No.10 comes in. This man looks to pick up little pockets of space between the lines and looks to receive the ball from the 2 deeper midfielders and then feed it into more attacking areas. This then means the CF can play on the CB's giving them something to do, the wide men can stretch the game to create more space for the "No.10" to exploit in the middle. Not to mention a No.10 will also occupy a deeper midfield man for the opposition so movement from him will create more passing channels into attacking areas if necessary. For me, that's the only solution if Liverpool want to break teams down because it's too easy to play against otherwise.

This I think would suit Liverpool much more and see more results:

----Henderson---Wijnaldum----
----Mane----Lallana----Coutinho----
---------------Firmino------------------

Liverpool's front 4 in this case would be able to hurt any defence, but, it needs to come into play well.
