We are into the last week of the Winter January Window, and it has all been a bit quite - especially for the big teams.
Here is my quick review of it:
Best Business?
Oscar being sold for a kings ransom has to be at the top. A player who hadn't started since September and clearly out of his managers plans. Chelsea have taken advantage of the Chinese money.
In terms of signings, Morgan Schneiderlin may have flopped at United, but surely will improve Everton.
Jose Fonte could be a good signing to stabalise what has been a pretty inconsistent West Ham defence.
Gabriel Jesus sort of counts, and looks to have a bright future at Manchester City.
Saido Berahino has finally got out of West Brom - to Stoke City!
Busiest Teams
No surprise that it is the relegation battlers doing a lot of business. Both Hull and Swansea are on their 3rd manager since the end of last season - and they are once again the teams restructuring.
Luciano Narsingh has been around for a long time with a lot of Champions League experience and could prove a good signing for Swansea. Tom Carroll returned to the Swans, and Martin Olssen has PL experience.
Marco Silva has already lost Jake Livermore, and Robert Snodgrass is on his way out. Thus he has to use his connections from spells in Portugal and Greece. Already in are Omar Elabdellaoui from Olympiacos, and Evandro from Porto. Liverpool and Everton flops Lazar Markovic and Oumar Niasse have also arrived.
David Moyes has only managed to sign unattached Jolean Lescott for Sunderland, while Sam Allardyce has only managed to attract Jeff Schlupp to struggling Crystal Palace. Surely both managers will want to add more before next Tuesday.
Big clubs future action?
Chelsea look like they may do some business. Arturo Vidal is the latest to be linked. A back up 'keeper also seems to be of interest.
Liverpool are being linked with Portuguese star William Carvalho.
Manchester United seem to be looking at wide players with Depay gone and Young also looking on his way out. They have missed out on Goncalo Guedes, Kasper Dolberg of Ajax is the next name linked.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur look unlikely to bring anyone in to the first team squad.
Remains to be seen if Pep will look to add to his squad.
Transfer Window so far...

Frankly Jan transfer windows have got worse every year for the last 5 years. Teams are all rich enough to hold onto their players.

The rumour about Carvalho for Liverpool was shot down by James Pearce, I believe him, after all it's ridiculous to think we might sign a player we actually need.

Snodgrass, the Scottish Ozil is coming to London.

That's a shame. Thought he would have been a good signing. Or potentially good anyway.
Surprised City haven't tried to throw some money at defenders. Still time I guess.

Where does it say we are interested in Carvalho?

We've been silent all window. Doubt anything will happen now with just a few days left.
