Bolton Wanderers v Charlton Athletic

Fa cup 4th round weekend and could have been at Cheltenham races today and looking forward to a televised tie against Manchester city tomorrow. That boat has sailed and that coach gone and left behind in a wet and miserable looking Bolton in January not looking forward to a home league match against Charlton. Last year's 0-0 was one of the worst games I have ever seen, the last 4 matches between the club's have been draws. However must raise ourselves. Not played a league match since losing to Swindon 2 weeks ago and a chance to get back on winning ways or not. Still have a chance of top 2 as it stands with the games in hand. A tough game against Karl Robinsons improved Charlton in mid table unbeaten in 4. Team news. No new injuries, no new signings. Davies, pratley, Howard, Buxton, dervite still out. Should be unchanged. Got draw written all over this.

So much for Ken's promises. Someone will have to come in with £10,000,000 if they want Vela or Clough. On second thoughts I'll sell for somewhere just over £2,000,000 with a few paltry add ons. That will do fine.

As we suspected Ken is a liar like our last esteemed chairman. Shame on him.

Swie, I suspect ( hope) it's a bit more than £2mil more like £3 mil still not enough, so that's £5mil + for Holding & Clough,to see us through the season without the cowboys putting in anything at all.
Can we expect Vela & Clayton to fund next season,
Not a great move for Clough to a lower championship club but probably better than staying here,
Long term Clough & Alf would have ensured promotion
Not so sure we can make it now.
We have lost two ( poor ) players in Proctor & Taylor but I am not convinced the players coming in are any. better, time will tell,🤔

Over to PP to prep for the big match at MK Dons on Saturday he's got a lot to do hasn't he Chairman Ken needs the promotion as games come thick and fast I'm not sure PP will prove the fans from over the hill wrong if he doesn't he'll end up on the compost heap with the rest of our recent managers

Would have been better off going into administration rather than let these two get hold of the club. Is there any point going up? Need money in the championship so would come straight back down anyway unless there was another buyer.

Yesterday (Monday) we were promised the accounts would be in today I've not heard the fanfare yet have you.
If we did go up I won't be holding my breath for the investment Chairman Ken said would flow into the club

We are now after Moraise ? a free agent let go by Bradford !!!! another Proctor then, why keep wasting money, when we have none,

Friday at last an early finish with time for a traditional Crunchie later.
Now isn't it time we put some thought into the team news for the big match at MK Dons we have more square pegs than round holes so how are we going to fit them around the washing machine do you get the feeling it will be a straight swap Alf for Zach and as you were or will we add right winger to slot in Sammy's boots as well I'm not sure PP could make two changes in the one game where it's going to be important we leave with something.

All we know is that it's under 3 million. It's anybodies guess.

Benny said we would have been better going into administration. He's probably right.

Anderson has edged out Holdsworth because he has no cash but as has been said, he's not exactly splashing the cash. The man is just a chancer and his past dealings show that.

he has said on more than one occassion that he's in it for the long term. Just let someone come in with a half decent offer and the crettin will be off rubbing his hands.

No mention of the blue marble loan being paid off with the Zach money,? sorry Ken that's nothing to do with you is it, that's Deanos debt.🤔

Wait for it GWd you know if Chairman Ken pays off that loan it counts towards him buying Dean's shares we didn't get enough for Zach to pay off the loan and interest so it will have to wait for Vela or somebody else to be worth a few bob more. Ken will get there then he'll be in a position of not having to deal and share anything when he sells up.
