I don't particularly have any great knowledge on the subject.

I do remember a couple of years ago, me and some friends took the train to the Everton game. We were looking for a pub near stanley park and some young lads offered to show us where the away pub was.

Following them (on their bikes), we realised we were heading down a street with no exit. About halfway down the street, a front door opened and 15-20 lads ran out of the house with bats to give us a good kicking.

I remember thinking that they probably did it every week with the away fans.

Moral of the story - don't trust young scouse hoodlems.

Apparently or allegedly there is a new Blackburn Youth, they were apparent at the Blackpool and Bolton games last season. I also hear they they are not a patch on the old Blackburn Youth.

Football firms are pathetic.

If you like the hooligan type of film, watch ID (if you haven't already!).

Really good film.

How many people stay away or dare not go to matches anymore because of this mindless minority who continue to blight soccer.Always the same in groups or armed,a normal person goes to a game, have a few beers, cheer or groan after the match and then go home.I hate everything thats connected to soccer violence as ive also been a victim over the years and for what?I had the nerve to follow Rovers to away matches.

123, it took that for you to learn not to trust a scouser?

As a younger man I went to a polytechnic in Stoke and watched a few of their games. I was convinced, stupidly, that a game Vs Derby at the baseball ground would be fun.

To cut a long story short, about 40 Derby fans decided we'd like to play a game of chase. There was a sign of hope in the distance where a big bobby was looming large. We approached and asked for his assistance, it was thus:

"Lads, I'm running this way, you run that way. That way only one of us gets f'ked"...
