Yesterday saw Lincoln City reach the 5th Round of the FA cup
The last time they played at this stage of the cup was in 1887 in fact the 29th Jan 1887, so 130 years ago today.
They were however rather unfortunate in that they were playing the Mighty Glasgow Rangers and lost 3-0.
Rangers went on to reach the semi final where they lost to the eventual winners Aston Villa.
Good Luck to Lincoln City in the next round.

Unless Lincoln draw Sutton I reckon their luck has about run it's course but an away draw to one of the top PL league would sort them out financially for a good while.
Also give them the chance to concentrate on their league form because they're pushing for promotion back to league 2.
