Ayew/Taylor

Jordan Ayew to Swansea

Neil Taylor to Villa

wtf is going on, what a shiete swap deal that is, leaves Villa with Kodija and Gabby!

I really hope they have another striker coming in or they are up shiete creek if Kodija gets injured/Suspended

The only rumours I am seeing are Jacob Bedeau and Jordan Rhodes, the first looks to be a done deal, Rhodes is no closer, I like the signings so far but getting rid of Ayew and Gestede and not replacing them is crazy

Taylor makes sense; we have absolutely no cover for Amavi. Also think Amavi would benefit from being rested for the odd game; he's been playing a hell of a lot for someone out for as long as he's been. Don't think Taylor is wonderful but he's probably good enough to fill in when needed.

Also gained cash from the deal, which may help in a final push for a forward.

Don't quite understand this one at all. Don't know anything about Taylor but can't imagine he's all that great and Amavi will still be ahead of him. Ayew can be frustrating and has hardly set the Championship alight, but he's made a hell of alot more impact than certain players who are still with us (Westwood, Hutton, Gabby for starters). Even taking away this season, the guy's got a very good record at international level and clearly has some real talent, but as ever we'll probably see that talent fully utilised at another club now and not Villa.

We have done well this window for sure, but Sseeling Ayew and to a lesser extent Gestede has been naive. Gestede is a decent bench option and in my opinion Ayew is good enough to be starting, either on the right or left flank.

I think a forward is certain to come in dont panic everyone......

Ayew has shown a poor attitude at times me for one glad he's going

We are without a miracle going to be in this division next term so let the rebuilding start,

Talk now of Hogan as well as Rhodes not sure either the immediate answer but lets see later tomorrow night.

I like the window so far.......still work to be done though

"Ashley Westwood looks set to join Burnley after Aston Villa accepted a loan bid, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The deal would be a loan move with a view to a permanent move in the summer. "

Heres hoping he does well there then!

Makes sense Tshibola out on loan, think he has something about him to eventually take Jedinaks role
