Strong rumour on twitter, Bolton accept third bid from a Forest of £3.5M for Zak Clough, interesting one if it comes off.

Clear as anything that this is a desperate attempt to appease the fans especially after the disaster yesterday for him.
He needs to go

Zach Clough is good business. I remained to be convinced on McCormack as he was under a bit of a cloud at Villa. Depends if he wants to really get his career back on track or not.

The question is, is Fawaz spending money he doesn't really have (from an FFP perspective) to attract a decent manager and hope once again to coin it back when forest get promoted next year?

Forest will easily make a profit on Clough in the future. Might take a short while to get him up to speed as the championship is much stronger than league one. Seems to be over his injury problems which held him back. Technically very good, free kick taker, safe penalty taker. Class act, far too good for league one. Only risk is the injury problems reoccurring which probably put other clubs off signing him. Two dislocated shoulders and hammy problems. Best position in a 10 behind a main striker or tip of a diamond. Bolton have been playing him on the left wing, can do the job but wasted there IMO. Good luck for the future Zac.

Intrigued by Clough. Follow Bolton as they're my Dad's team so have been watching his career with interest. He has the knack of being in good positions around the box. Got a touch of Andy Reid about his set plays.
Hope his leaving doesn't derail the Trotters promotion bid. Think with ALF back and Vela there is enough there to haul the top two in.

Not so sure about promotion now. Alf is a big plus a goalscorer but 2 top players in clough and ameobi gone. Replaced by free transfers and loans. Definite downgrade.
