With the January transfer window finally closed what did you think about the comings and goings? If you took out the signing of Costa I guess it was pretty uneventful although the signing of Weimann looks a good deal until the end of the season. The jury is out on Marshall.

Andreas Weimann - Loan from Derby County
Helder Costa - £13m from Benfica
Ben Marshall - £1.5m from Blackburn

Not mush to say really.
Ola John - Sub-loan deal until end of season to Deportivo La Coruna
Connor Hunte - Released
Prince Oniangue - Loan until end of season to Bastia
Jed Wallace - Loan until end of season to Millwall
Will Randall - Loan until end of season to Walsall
Joao Teixeira - Loan until end of season to Nottingham Forest

Dave Edwards is 31 today and still improving as a player. Been a marmite squad member for many years but noticeable nowadays that he gets the biggest cheer when the team is announced, and has his name sung more than any player. Hats off to him for winning the masses over

Anyone else a little concerned about our lack of cover for the LB position. Doherty is doing well having switched, but where's the cover if he get's crocked? Deslandes has gone on loan to Bury and not sure what happened to O'Hanlon. I guess Hause could play there as he's done it before, but we do seem a wee bit thin on the ground in that department.

O'Hanlon on loan at Nuneaton and I see we still have Borthwick-Jackson at the club, although he's not getting a sniff at the moment.

U23's at Stoke tomorrow and Gladon is in the squad. Maybe he'll get some much needed game time.

Just read elsewhere that the FA Cup final is two days before the Play off final, that absolutely astonishes me that the FA could be so dismissive of the championship.
