Milton Keynes Dons v Bolton Wanderers

Life after Chris Taylor begins today as Bolton make the 168.4 mile journey to stadium mk. Its seems a long time since that last minute goal by James henry against Scunthorpe on new years eve which put Bolton into 2nd. January has been tough. 1 away draw and 2 home defeats and a 3rd round cup exit, wages paid late and a busy deadline day. February now and can see spring at the end of the tunnel and its straightforward 19 games to be played between now and April 30th. The poor January has cost Bolton. Now 7 points behind 2nd albeit with 2 games in hand and a 7 point buffer between 3rd and 7th Southend. A toughie today against mk dons managed by Robbie neilson who are in form won 3 and drawn 1 in the last 4 and scored 9 in the last 2. Team news. Anyone's guess today. Bolton have a 24 man squad not including sub keeper Jake turner who does not count as he is not a professional. The squad is looking a lot different than it was on 31st December. Out Clough, Taylor, Anderson, proctor and ameobi. In Wilkinson returned from loan and new signings wingers viv-soloman-otabor, filipe morals, strikers Chris long and Adam le fondre. Still out injured pratley and Davies for the season and Buxton, dervite and Howard unknown. Complicated by having 6 loans so one of Alf, long, viv, Thorpe, a.Taylor, henry have to miss out today. Personally disappointed a defender not been signed as the defence has been creaking of late and a lack of numbers at the back. Plenty of attacking options now though. Its how pp gets the right balance now and does not put square pegs into round holes. Keep the same formation can't get Alf into the team. 4-4-2 looks the best balance for me hope pp goes for it. Can't help thinking Max will miss out in the mix though.

I see Ken has his excuse. Deano has no money.

What a load of carp. We all knew that before he promised not to sell him unless a mega offer came in. He knew the situation before he started spouting off.

How long before we end up in administration.

Holdsworths reaction http://www.burndenaces.co.uk/2017/02/08/holdsworth-fires-back-over-anderson-comments.html . Who do we trust is telling the truth ?

Maybe Dean has a stash of cash in the mattress he sort of implies he might have put money in if he had access to the books where would his money have come from the mattress or a cunning plan to borrow more against other assets to put in.
Dean does sort of confirm what we said in that Ken has took his money back out at the first opportunity.

We'd have been better of with Doris the way she manages the tea fund is amazing it generates a profit for the Christmas party every year.

They Shoot Horses Don't They was a most excellent tune by Racing Cars back in 1976.

I've sent Chairman Ken a digital copy of that old 45 as a reminder of the real reason they shoot horses it may help with his injury costs and remind him we missed out on promotion from the 2nd division back in the 76/77 season by a single point.

Ken seems to be economical with the truth.

Deano has brought Ken's past directorship into the argument. It's just a pity he didn't think about that before he invited him to join the board.

I thought Monday was wash day. It must have moved to Thursday in Horwich while I've been away I can see the dirty laundry being done today. I hope it doesn't pi$$ it down or the accounts will look all dirty again.

Talk about ducking and diving bobbing and weaving to buy sometime until the next set of accounts are due which isn't that far away now. Have you spotted Arthur Daley anywhere near the Macron please call the Beano news hotline and ask for Marc

What a coincidence.
A motion of "no confidence" in the Football Association has been passed by MPs debating the organisation's ability to reform itself.

Its been a busy week have today off you all need to recharge those batteries (Benny the phone) relax take it easy and stay away from reading newspapers and accounts due to the shortage of Aspirin around the Bolton area.

If BWST are correct and the club needs 25-30 million to reach the end of this season and to the end of next season, we are in deep $hit. Even if Ken sells the whole of the team, he could raise that amount.

He might be putting money in but he's taking it out almost as fast according to Deano. If that's the case expect Josh to go in the next window and any other player we can get a few bob for.

I told you not to read the papers SWIE the figure says to the end of next season the figures are a speculative unsupported guess at best.
Talk about jumping on the band wagon they can't have the clubs interests at heart publishing something like that we had already been made aware of certain ongoing legal issues they had better be careful as making statements like that could end up with them in court and subject to a heavy compensation claim from Chairman Ken.

It's nap time here I find counting apples sends me off quicker than counting sheep these days.
