Injured mess though. Out for the season.

Yes, I know. But he is one of the type who could make the step up. Isn't afraid of coming for crosses cause of his height and quite good at shot stopping as well. I am talking of the summer and beyond.

To be fair, you'd have said the same with Pat Jennings.

I like Forster. Absolute monster of a GK but has a odd blooper in him but that's the same with all goalkeepers.
Should have just signed Alderweirad, Wanyama and Forster 1-2 seasons ago. Combined fee of around £30 mil which is laughable considering we spunked that on Mustafi/Xhaka

Could always buy Joe Hart !

Don't think Forster has it to step up a level. Too many errors, rather than an odd blooper. Seems to be very slow in getting down to low shots. Pretty crap with the ball at his feet.
Pretty much the same as Cech.
Hart? Maybe, but wouldn't be on my shortlist.

With the money that's swilling round the Premier League these days, the kind of money it would take to sign Butland is needed elsewhere in the squad.
Not sure whether we're still expecting any money from Szczesny, but with him and, presumably, Ospina moving next summer, we will need to get someone in.
The trouble is we will find ourselves up against City and Liverpool trying to sign a replacement for the same position.
Long term, the search continues...

Arsenal are the 8th best team for shots on target faced and 7th for shots faced but conceded 6th most.
Liverpool conceded 2 goals more then Arsenal despite allowing 21 shots on target less and Man City conceded 1 more despite allowing 27 shots on target less. Southampton conceded 3 more despite allowing despite allowing 23 shots on target less.
