We need to forget about this season because we are not going to get CL place or anything. This season could turn out to be worse than last season where we reached two cup finals. We need to start planning for next season. New approach. New players. Get rid of the average players.
Most important move for me would be bringing Klopp's old assistant David Wagner, who is doing an excellent job at Huddersfield, to assist him again. He is a game tactician. His team is solid at the back. I know Klopp offered him the job when first appointed and he accepted Huddersfield job instead, but I think we should try again with a better package than what he gets now.
We need someone like Kante. For the hundred times I've said Henderson is not good enough for a team like Liverpool. Certainly not to be a main man in midfield and the captain. He can pass and pass sideways in the midfield area when all of the opposition team players are in their box. That's not a difficult thing to do.
New keeper is needed. For a start, I will bring back Danny Ward. He did well at Aberdeen and now doing well at Huddersfield. Then search for an experienced keeper.
I will make the team around Matip.
We are making the same mistakes as Arsenal were doing in the past. Arsenal luckily had an experienced manager in Wenger to get them out of trouble. We have keepers who make costly errors. We can't defend set pieces. We get bullied. We don't have a dominate midfielder. We play well against top teams but struggle against teams defending deep. We have no plan B and want to pass the ball into the net to score. We have a stubborn manager who thinks his squad is good enough and despite given money doesn't want to strengthen his team. We sell more than we buy. That was Arsenal 6 years ago and more. It's us now.
For a start, get rid of Mignolet, Origi, Can
and Henderson because they are liabilities.
We need to be careful though. We still need to keep some experienced players and keep them as squad players like Milner, Sturridge, Lovren and Lucas but these players should not be starting games when we have a full squad avaliable.
We need new keeper, LB, CB to partner Matip, a defensive midfielder and a striker.
And I actually think the only difference between Klopp and Rodgers is one starts the season well then goes into relegation form while the second (Rodgers) starts poorly but ends the season well. Both have had the same average players.
Plan for next season

A new keeper, I would take Joe Hart now
A new CB to pair with Matip
A wide winger for the left in mould of Mane
A striker who can get on crosses
A DM

Klopp is not a chequebook manager though. He doesn't go out and sign players. He develops them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then he's crap at it and needs to change. We need to bring in quality not wait 5 years to see if a speculative punt turns good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Klopp will frustrate us like Wenger does in the transfer market. He never spends money and would rather buy some kid with supposed talent and whoever is playing well at Southampton

Wagner is establishing himself as a good manager in his own right; H'field are playing some tasty football and he's becoming a sought after bloke, no way would he want to step down to being a no2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last season Town just avoided relegation to league 1, thanks to Wagner coming in half way through the season.
He ripped apart the old squad, signed a handful (maybe 2 handfuls) of players from the German 2nd and 3rd tiers and a batch of loans, took them all fishing and camping for a few weeks in Scandinavia, came back and has them playing the best football in the championship, just had them eat the league leaders alive and has them on course to fight for promotion when before the season started most fans probably would have taken survival and prayed for mid table.
The man is a talent. Clearly the reason for Jurgen's Dortmund success.

Could? We're out of everything and getting tactically owned by just about everyone.
It's a disaster season - only a top 4 finish could give us something to smile about but it looks increasingly unlikely with every game.
An Incredible turnaround of form really.

We are still 4th and luckily Arsenal lost. Spurs still can't a way past Boro. By tomorrow we are 5th but still we could finish 4th or 5th.

A clear penalty. Boro defence is good. Spurse looking good going forward and tight at the back.
