If we play like we did in the first half today we'll batter Arsenal. We'll outnumber them all over the pitch unless Wenger opts for three at the back, but Ozil's nullified either way - he'll be stuck on the wing or left isolated in a 4-2-3-1. If we deal with Sanchez, we'll have them where we want them.

I don't care about the top 6 mini league, I was making a valid point that we have a bad record against big teams when we were about to play two big teams. I don't get this whole I told you so attitude either. We drew against a Liverpool team who have lost 4 of their last 5, the only game they didn't lose being against us. That was a poor result. the result against Arsenal was good though, but the performance wasn't 100% convincing.

At this moment in time factoring the point of the season (i.e. Arsenal's February roadblock), the form of both clubs, home advantage especially against them, and the formations each team were going to field, unless we just had a bad day we were the horse to back in that match.

The only slight worry regarding Conte I have on the horizon is his Champions League record. His Juventus side couldn't maintain their league form in that competition, something Allegri has managed to do since replacing him. I was surprised Abramovich appointed him knowing his affinity with it. But like you here, I look forward to be proven wrong
