United fan in peace (if such thing exists) but anyway I just wanted to ask you guys a couple a questions about your manager because where I'm from the Liverpool fans rate him as a bit of a messiah. Well up until recently anyway.
Firstly, if you don't make top 4 has Klopp failed this season?
Secondly, if he doesn't make top 4 this season and has a start next season like Rodgers had last season will his job become under threat?

No spurtle. I got what I asked for. Just like I wasn't jizzing when we had title form. It's funny really as when we were playing really well I had it rammed down my throat that it's a 38 game season. Not saying you did but there were plenty.
So is it a 38 games league or not?

It is a 38 game season, each team will go through good and bad form patches.
It's how you come through them, if you do, that is the mark of a good manager.
See Conte @ Chelsea. Had poor form, didn't keep doing things the same way, changed it and are flying.
At the moment Klopp is faced with this problem that something has to change.
It will be his responsibility to find the solution.
It is very apparent that against lower league opposition we cannot play the same way as we have been.

Only recently. If you listen to Klopp he said that the team literally didn't train for about 6 weeks because of the amount of games (apparently we play one game a week or something according to the 606 patriarchs) and Hull was the first time we have had our front three out since November.
We'll be absolutely fine I reckon.
Just on another note.... Hull's pitch!
How can you play Rugby league on it before a Prem game??
So I think we'll play the way we have when we were wiping the floor with teams 8 weeks ago. He tried a diamond against Utd which could be an option but ultimately it's about the decision making and quality the lads are producing which on Saturday was woeful. But it was woeful against Burnley too and we didn't get relegated.

When did they play rugby league on that pitch?

All season. You could see the LFC players trying to pass the ball slightly off the ground it was that gash.

The expectation was raised cause we did really well, not it's more back to where it should, but I don't see the problem in this, I thought we'd fight for top 4 at the start of the season, in mid November I'd seen enough to think we could mount a serious title challenge, January has crushed that belief and now back to thinkig a top 4 challenge is the target.
Expectations will change across a season as it progresses.

What really matters is Klopp's targets from your board.
The cup situation, complete failure.
League, probably on track.

That's if the board targeted cups.. doubt they did if Klopp made huge changes with sub par teams.
They probably looked and thought.. winning league cup - £500k prize money, winning FA cup £2m prize money, finishing 2 places higher than last time £5m extra, getting champions league - £25m
Easy to see where the priorities would have been.
Unfortunately it doesn't always work that way. Resting players to then subsequently lose 2-0 at Hull shows that.

It is a results game, Liverpool could well string a run of wins which could change the whole dynamics of the top 4.
Key of course will be on Saturday, I expect a really tough game from two of the most entertaining teams in the PL

Liverpool's rivals can't break away from this trap.
Jose is United's messiah, Conte Chelsea's and so on. All football fans are the same but Liverpool's rivals see Liverpool as special and different. I wonder why.
