Super Coaches - the story so far

Conte:
Its been a brilliant season so far for the Italian, his use of the squad and the signings we made have been brilliant, his switch to a 3 4 3 was the catalyst for a near record breaking run of wins and hes turned players like moses and Alonso, players who previous coaches had disregarded into dependable and important first team players. He’s galvanised a squad completely shot of confidence into the machine we have come to know of Chelsea over the last 10 years or so. His coaching ability is outstanding and his passion is infectious.

Poch:
Class manager in every sense, spurs have improved year on year under his management, spurs are a side without the spending power of the traditional big guns and he has worked with his squad and the English core to end up with a team who on their day play with frightening ferocity and speed. Like Conte he is a manager who relies on coaching rather than spending. A trend we will see more of in the future as Money continues to pour into the game leaving the elites free to buy up the “superstar players"

Pep:
Struggled at times to get to grips with the PL, I never felt the PL was for Pep he seems to treat us with disdain, he snears in his press conferences and almost looks down on everyone. However there are signs that City are adapting to him as a manager, Pep isn’t as flexible as the top 2 but when he gets it right, with the right personnel, we only have to look at the history books to see what he can do. Worrying for the rest of us.

Wenger:
put it this way EVERY other PL club wants arsene to stay, that should tell you something. He is the definition of a company man, working with the powers at be to do enough to keep them in profit, with no desire to take the necessary steps to achieve trophies. When I grow up and look back on Chelsea I will, like every other fan reminisce of the glory of winning things and not worry to much about positive net spend.

Klopp:
Infectious personality, attacking philosophy, not much else, hes a bit of a clown and when the going is good, its really good. Pool at times have looked outstanding this season playing some lovely football, they have gone through a bit of a blip recently, it happens but it remains to be seen if he can turn it around. It does seem however that they are running out of steam after a relentless start. I like Klopp personally and he does need to be backed by FSG to make the required improvements to their defence.

Jose:
Its been another awful season for jose, United are no better off than they were under LVG or Moyes, money cant buy you everything these days, everyone has money and its more down to coaching and getting the right balance. Jose doesn’t seem to be tactically flexible anymore and his teams are now easy to play against. Slow turgid football is the norm now and millions upon millions of money spent to fit the same system which is dying a death. There have been some bright lights and good performances, but the same can be said of Everton. Failure to qualify for the CL with this united side and the rescources available to him will go down as one of his biggest failures

And yes I predict Arsenal to drop out of the top 4. Everything must come to an end sometime.

Very weird reason to dislike a club. Idgaf about Rangers despite them being a mess.

Scottish football does not saturate the media like the English Premier League, being a huge football fan an watching all these programs and listening to radio shows it's monotonous when it comes to Arsenal.

The discussion around Wenger is tedious, the man hasn't been fit for the job for a decade.

Arsenal find themselves in a comparable sporting position to Rangers but without a reason to be. Rangers are there because of the shady characters that ran the club, Arsenal are there because of nostalgia to Wenger and that is equally if not more sad.

By comparable sporting position I mean having lots more resources than the clubs below them so as never to be too worried looking down but also not being able to realistically (apart from a few throw away comments from both Rangers and Arsenal players at the start of the season) challenge to win it.

I agree the last couple of seasons have been disappointing for Arsenal despite their cup wins. I do not accept Wenger has been poor for 10 years. Selling their best players and still finishing in the top 3 or 4 consistently before that is not to be sniffed at.

It is, it is the clearest example of lack of ambition that even the fans eat this up.

Jose has revitalised United. That's from a neutral if you think there is no improvement from Moyes or LVG then you should be embarrassed to call yourself a football fan.

I would be fully expecting Utd to make top 4...given thier current momentum

Word is their target is Allegri, and on paper it's a perfect fit. For the same reason Conte was perfect for us reflecting the job he had when he arrived at Juventus, Allegri at Arsenal addresses the same job he had being Conte's successor at Juventus.

I've not forgotten an analogy someone once presented on this forum. Conte builds houses, lays foundations, and Allegri decorates houses, refines teams. Everything's there at Arsenal, the players, infrastructure, finances - all they need is a fresh approach from a elegant tactician who knows what he's doing. Allegri is that man.
