More insulting to Collymore if we DON'T sing a song about him.
Yesterday's man.

I don't want to even think of the odious Collymore and certainly don't want to sing about him.

I know I shouldn't say this.........but I hate the Steve Bloomer's watching song. Why can't we have something decent like Liverpool, West Brom and others have. The Dambusters March was much better and stirred the cockles of my heart.

Plus it's easy for you to remember the words of the Dambusters march VC. The old memory isn't what it used to be.

I agree Steve Bloomer's watching is a dirge, but it's our dirge. The Leeds fans don't seem to be bothered about the equally awful Marching on together. In fact they are quite proud of it.

I detest the marching on together AND Mull of Kintyre AND we will journey on (Birmingham City)

and Villa Villa (That's all Aston Villa can come up with)

Nothing wrong with singing about the great Steve Bloomer. But singing "everybody's frightened of ..." is often a very hollow line.

We just need better words. same tune - somebody write a few new lines and eliminate the obvious falseness

3R - rather than regard it as falseness, think of it as optimism.........if we don't believe it, no one else will...........

The Bloomer one is too fabricated for my liking: more an imposition than a tradition, especially at 378dB.

When I hear "You'll Never Walk Alone" it makes the hair on the back of my head rise. If only we had a song like that to sing.

I'm getting fed up with Since I Was......... we need a new song.
