Worst United Team in 50 Years

The performance and effort from every one of our players versus Falkirk on Sat was completely unacceptable. They all looked like they would rather be somewhere else. Not one team member takes any credit for such an abject display. The manager must shoulder his share of the blame. A decent number of Arabs made the trip in wintry conditions, paying £18 admission, to endure a totally inept display by DUFC. Disgraceful !!!!!

Really, really pi$$ed off.

I don’t really follow lower league football but I’ve heard of the Falkirk wheel so guessing there’s a team from there too?

I think you are overreacting a bit. When we got relegated we had some terrible performances and it only took us 7 or so seasons to back in to the top flight. Yes you are terrible, but I can honestly see you guys getting promoted within the next 10 years or so. 15 at most, so keep your chins up.

If you make the play offs this year it will be a great experience for you and can build on that in the coming seasons.

Fond regards.

Difficult times.

Didn't see anything of the game so I'm not in the best place to comment, but by all accounts it was a horrendous performance. I've seen Dixon get slaughtered for his errors.

I feared the worst when I saw both Bell and the Edge out the team and I was surprised he dropped Murray.

Ultimately we've still got a lot of poor players at the club and there's little we can do about that in the short term.

I feel for every arab that went to that shower on Saturday.
Unfortunately it comes from years of mismanagement at the club from top to bottom.
We are failing in every aspect of a football club and we need change (not the manager at this moment imo)
Until Thompson goes it will not get better
end of!

Marcus Haber you need to brush up on your trolling skills. The way the club is going I would be concerned about us being relegated down another division.
10 years to be promoted to the premier, I would take that at the moment

I didn't have the will to reply to that post . I'm thinking that Ray gets a chance for the next season,(if necessary), to get it right. It was absolutely dire on Sat. Not one shot on target and zero effort. Ray needs to decide on his best team and give them a run at it. Still don't know why we released Cammy Smith. He was the one player who made things happen.

I also was not there so can't comment, but I was at the dunfermline game and I saw the team put in a lot of effort despite the atrocious conditions, so I can't imagine they were that bad... And I'm sure they weren't as bad as last season!!!

Sometimes there are off days and with no Bell or Edge we are lacking a bit of a central spine, which we need.

Regarding Cammy Smith, I was reading in the EE that apparently Aberdeen weren't happy that he wasn't getting much game time (he was always appearing as a sub for us). It's kinda funny, 'cause he could waltz into our starting 11, but I guess we don't want to rely too much on loan players?

Anyway great signing for St Mirren. They're staying up now.
