Match facts
◾Leeds have not lost against Bristol City at Elland Road since November 1979 (W5 since).
◾The Robins' 1-0 victory at Ashton Gate in this season's reverse fixture ended a run of eight league games without a win against Leeds.
◾Chris Wood and Tammy Abraham have scored the greatest share of their team's goals in the Championship this season (Wood 43%, Abraham 44%).
◾Abraham is the Championship's top away scorer with 12 goals - no other player has more than seven.

So there you have it, plenty of good positive comments coming from the players, but can they deliver ?
I'm playing safe and going for a 2-1 win , with Hernandez and Roofe Scoring

Best three in the league at the end off season are the top three, they got where they are throughout a whole season!..

Third isn't always rewarded but that's the grabbers in the football world, top three should go up, not top two and 6th!..

If the rules were top three go up then everybody would be playing for a top three spot knowing it is their only chance, the way it is now the top two go up and the next four play it off, that means the team that has won third has been thrown in the lottery with teams that over a full season weren't as good!..

The Championship play offs make more money than the fa cup final, its just a scam to get a bit/lot more money for the organisation that doesn't know how to spend it right!..

" I remember when it was between 3 rd v 3rd bottom from league above"

The same as it is here now, but that is also wrong, because that means a season of hard graft and then playing against the 3rd last and losing, means those that didn't earn the right to stay in the league they came 3rd last in, have won a reprieve and taken the rights away from the team that has fought to get where they are throughout the season!..

Uddersfield got a heavy schedule now

FA Cup and game in hand to play

See how they handle that now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've handled everything else. 10 wins in the last 12 Championship games, 5 points more than anyone else over the last 10 matches, win that game in hand and we have a 13 point gap over 7th....I wouldn't waste your time hoping we slip up. Think we've more than proven we deserve to be where we are
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll see
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're talking us down then surely you should be talking yourself down even more, given the two lessons we've handed out to you this season? We're better than you as we have proven. Twice.

Saying things like "we'll see" makes naff all sense as there are a multitude of stats available to help you form a proper opinion. If you want to put your fingers in your ears and take the "blah blah I'm not listening" approach, then fine. But a forum for debate is probably a waste of your time in that case mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you finish higher than us then I'll agree with you no problem

It's a marathon not a sprint

You struggled to beat Rotherham, we lost to Cardiff, who dear Derby who we battered...winning an odd game doesn't make you the best...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How the hell did we struggle to beat Rotherham? We had 33 shots ffs - that's more than 1 every 3 minutes. I was at the game last night and whilst we left it late, it was men against boys. Suggesting we struggled based on the fact our winner came 2 mins into stoppage time, without having actually seen the game, leaves you looking like you're clutching at straws.

As for who is better, ask any neutral Championship watching supporter. I'm very confident they wouldn't say you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My daughters boyfriend was sat on the rotherham bench and he's sat here now...you were lucky to win 😜
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe he was on the bench because his eyesight is terrible?

Not defensive at all. Just explaining that the fact your team had 33 shots doesn't say anything at all. The post you have just sent says more about the game than the "33 shots" nonsense.

Enough about the Rotherham game anyway. In all seriousness, how do you think you'll get on next year if you don't manage to gain promotion this year?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hard to say. I'm not in the "once the loans go back we're ruined" camp though. The way we have helped develop the players we have says to me that clubs like Chelsea and City will be only too happy to send their next potential big thing here.

After Mooy and Brown our best players have been Kachunga (who we have a deal in place for should we choose to exercise it) and Tommy Smith. Barring Danny Ward, who is probably the closest thing we have to a weak link, we own all our first choice back line. Wells, Hogg, Billing, Van la Parra, Payne...all ours...we aren't in as bad a position as some would have you believe.

We're also very good at getting a good deal when selling players. Let's say Wells went for £5M in the summer....Wagner assembled an entire promotion chasing team for that this summer. We may not hit the dizzy heights of this season, but we've overachieved enormously anyway, even if we lost all our remaining 15 matches. I certainly don't forsee us returning to battling relegation next season, that's for sure
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How much you reckon you'd want for Hogg? Would definitely take him in our midfield at the minute.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hogg is one of those players it's really hard to put a value on as he is workmanlike rather than spectacular. Doesn't score many goals, always likely to get booked in a physical game, yet hoovers up pretty much any loose ball.

He was an ever present when Watford were last promoted and came with a big reputation, but looked out of place in Powells team. Under Wagner though he's been immense and we can see now why Watford fans thought he was the bollox. Really missed him the other night and need him back asap.

Whilst it's easy and a bit corny to call him "priceless", I think it would take a very big offer for us to sell. Probably upwards of £3M I'd imagine based on this seasons form.

I agree with you Walsall regards the play offs. Sure it can be massively cruel on the team that finishes 3rd, but we have benefitted from it in the past and I wouldn't swap the drama of a victorious play off campaign for anything. All teams know how they work and can have no complaints if they don't finish top 2.
